Welcome to the RainInEden band page.We are musicians inspired by the world we live in. Tokyo is a meeting of the modern and the ancient where cultures blend, collide and often create something completely new.
RainInEden is a concept project inspired by the collisions of culture and history that define the daily lives we live in Tokyo. From the modern we take the vibrant electric sounds of synthesizers, guitar and bass and merge them with the ancient sounds of Shamishen, Yang Chin and other traditional instruments. We hear and share the voices from the edge of a modern chaotic world and listen to the wispers of a slower and more simple time.
We aspire to bring together the sounds of the old and new in a way that is all our own and to share with you the passion and confusion, contrast and clarity that is our home and inspiration.
Rain In Eden are:
Kelly: Synths, programming, guitar, vocals and Yang Chin (Chinese hammer dulcimer)
Megumi: Shamisen, ruan, vocals, percussion and Japanese melodies.
Ko-suke: Percussions
