New sacred music/nova música sacra!

About Me

I'm a pianist/composer/vocalist living in New York. I play jazz that comes from a lot of different influences: brazilian, afro-cuban, gospel, classical. I was a classical piano major in college but started playing jazz by studying with a prof who was a great jazz tenor saxophonist. After college, I moved to Chicago and played there for four years before making the move to NYC in 1997. My in-the-works fourth recording, "From This Place," focuses on my sacred jazz (the tracks are currently unmixed, but I've posted clips for your listening pleasure, along with tracks from several other recordings).
