Recording Artist and Singer

About Me

Thanks for checking me out! I've never been horribly political, but after an early career of being a closeted "straight" recording artist, I've finally decided that I need to be true to myself and let my music be true to who I am as well. I've never felt the need to proclaim my sexuality to the world, as it's only a part of who I am. But I feel that it's time for artists to show the music industry and the world that gay artists DO sell and DO have a place in the music industry. I applaud all that have made this decision before me and I want to give support and encouragement to all who are still living that lie. Being true to yourself is a wonderful thing and a wonderful way to live. And although I find myself being very private and not wearing my sexuality on my sleeve in my personal life, when it comes to my music career, it's an important stand to take. I'm a hopeless romantic and singing love songs is my passion... and so singing love songs that openly express those feelings for a gay audience is something I feel I can contribute to the world. My music is sort of a cross between Celine Dion/George Michael pop power ballads, with a band that has a Matchbox 20 feel. I also have recorded a big band CD that includes standards and some Broadway music. I'm a huge fan of rock guitars and feel that they can be incorporated into even the most classic of songs. So you might say that I'm definitely in the mainstream in terms of music. Thanks again for checking me out and I hope you enjoy the music! I'm in the process of developing a new CD that incorporates all of what I was just speaking about. Stay tuned, I'm excited about what's coming next!
