I grew up on a farm, outside of a small town in the midwest, with my parents and my 3 younger brothers. I'm close to my family and we try to see each other as often as we can. On weekends, I look forward to spending time with Britt together on the farm. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I like that springtime has finally arrived, warmer days, sunshine, grass starting to turn green, tulips starting to come up, sitting outside and being outdoors more, having the windows open for fresh spring air, and spring showers that fall... I spend my time.....Loving BriTT, time together at the farm outside, doing chores together, hauling alfalfa bales, fixin' fence, time in the pick up truck singin' to songs with the windows rolled down.... Being on the farm and checking baby calvies ~ Spring is Here! Time together on the farm and hangin' with our families. Staying in touch with friends and getting together on weekends. Relaxing at home with my kitty boy, Gabey. Coffee Caffeination in the mornings! Listening to music on the iPod & Sirius radio. And...getting excited for home town baseball games!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Singing! Internet. Reading. Talking to God. Journaling. Watching funny movies. Catching up with friends on the phone.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ COMEDIAN Judson Laipply: The Evolution of Dance ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I really enjoy listening to music, which I have going most of the time....when I don't have the TV on. My soul is happy when I'm singing. Mostly, I sing in the car when I'm driving as loud as I can; or at church; or on the dance floor, and sometimes out with friends for karaoke. I also like taking road trips and going to music concerts. My favorite times are driving with Britt and finding all the cool iPod songs we love to hear...and singing to all of them as loud as we can!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~For over 20 years my work has been helping people with special needs, severe developmental disablities, and those who are medically fragile. I enjoy my job and have worked where I'm at now for 16 years. I'm blessed to work with some amazing people who enrich my life every day. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I've been able to travel a lot in my life!! Favorite places have been any that are a tropical paradise where I've been able to snorkel: Hawaii, Grand Caymen, U.S.V.I., Jamaica, Cozumel. I've taken several trips and enjoyed being in Arizona, Colorado, California, The Black Hills, D.C., Florida, New York, The Ozarks, Tennessee, Texas, Wisconsin. But, I also enjoyed touring with a music group in: Italy, Switzerland, France, & England. I was facinated with the people, culture, architecture, art, music, and food! My yearly treks are down to Arizona or Tennesse to visit family and friends. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I'm a quiet, introverted person; but love to get out to try new things, travel to different places, meet interesting people, and have a good time. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I'm a supportive friend and a good listener. I keep my friends' confidences. I try to put myself in their place to have empathy about what they might be going through. I try to keep an open mind and an open heart. I try to use humor when talking about the hard stuff. Eating a pint of ice cream never hurt either : ) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I'm a hard worker, and especially like to have variety with physical and mental activity so I don't get bored. I do like to look good, feel good, stay healthy, and try to take care of myself; but I'm not really into appearances. I do love to eat fruit and veggies, which helps. I also like some shopping, mostly for jeans and shoes. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My two cats have been my companions, and I've always enjoyed relaxing at home with them. My Sampson, who was 18, had to be put to sleep in September. My heart still hurts, but I smile whenever I think of him. ~ Miss you sweet Sampson... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Gabey ~ 11. He's kinda vocal, loves attention, being brushed and stretching, playing, snuggling, & purring... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Yes, I know Jesus...The King of Kings who loves me. Master. Savior. And the one who calls me...Friend. (Lyrics from one of my favorite songs, sung by Scott Wesley Brown, that I've been honored to sing at church on occasion.) One of the most important things to me in my life has been being raised in a family that went to church, were leaders in the church and with praise music, and it put a desire in me to be involved in bible studies, and growing, and learning God's Word, and developing and having a strong faith in God. I express my faith best when I'm singing and praising God. I do this loudly ~ mostly in the car while I'm driving, but also for family, friends, and at church. I'm thankful to God and feel his presence in my life. I'm grateful for everything I've been blessed with and I don't take any day I'm given for granted. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I HAVE SOME PRETTY COOL & AMAZING FRIENDS.
