My formitive years were spent on a cattle farm in Northeast Nebraska. When I was 18 I left home and moved to South Dakota for college... ended up in SD for a little more than 14 years. In Sioux Falls, we worked / toured the country with Powerplay... JTC full time on the skins and me as the PT chick singer. Good times... tons of fun on the bus, great friends and experiences.
In October of 2000, JTC and I moved to Nashville. (I’ll never complain about the weather down here! HA.)
Since we moved to Nashvegas, John’s gotten to play with tons of cool people both live and in the studio. He toured with Ricky and Micol Davis of Blue Mother Tupelo for three years and loved every minute of it. These days JTC creating some soulful sounds with Lee Roy Parnell and Jimmy Wayne .
Me... I’m tryin’ to write better and better songs and get them out to the world. I’ve been singing since I was seven years old and can’t imagine life without music and creativity in it. I’m very blessed to share my life with someone, JTC , who has the same passion. (There’s nothin’ better than spending your life with your best friend.)
blah blah blah... you get the idea. I’m happy... not necessarily content... but happy to be on this path... in Nashville with a partner and friends who really get it. I LOVE NASHVILLE.
Thanks to Charles Hayes, Steve C , Cat Miller , Tommy Mac , Danny Torroll , Bekka Bramlett , Shawn Byrne , Karleen Watt , LaLa Deaton , Kiwamu Stewart, Jon Coleman and JTC (my better half) for making time to play with me. Playing, writing and recording with these friends is so incredible. They help make the songs sound better than I can even imagine.
AND... I LOVE working in the studio! Let me know if you’d like a voice like mine on your song demo. I’m happy to help.
