PROJECT DIVERGE TOUR'S KICKOFF THIS SATURDAY WENT FLAWLESS!

As the first band tunes their instruments and gets ready to kick off this year's Project Diverge Tour , Madison Apart and Elysium Productions announced the newest bond in local music. The crowd was pumped and ready to go and though I announced my boys once again with a vicious growl and scream introduction, I find myself about ready to pass out trying to put the mic back on it's stand. The night had began and continued through the 5 artists without complications. The Young Lordz hit the stage with energetic stage presence that even had the metal heads bobbin' their heads! The crowd was pumped up, throwing their hands up, and chanting along "take money money, make money money!" while the next act Eastwind came out with vengeance and aggressive hardcore riffs that probably knocked pictures off the wall of the buildings next door. Breakdown hit the stage without hesitation, knowing they had to continue a show that's already been amazing and did what we all expected them to do, tore it up! While the night was winding down, people are catching their breath from goin' nuts to 4 amazing acts, local reggae favorites The I-Ternals hit the stage and close out the night with their melodic irie sound which was the perfect closure to such an amazing night.

We appreciate everyone who came out and can't wait to see all of you at the future shows!

MADISON APART & ELYSIUM PRODUCTIONS JOIN FORCES

Northern Virginia's post-hardcore sensation Madison Apart has recently joined us. Madison Apart has shared the stage with national acts such as Hopesfall, Emery, Scarlett and many more. Their "feel good" vibe mixed with their aggressive and energetic sound not only has become the popular sound as of late with such acts as Atreyu, Underoath, and Scary Kids Scaring Kids but has been a sound much have been longing for since the inception of the post-hardcore or "screamo" genre. As said by Jeremy (Madison Apart's lead vocalist), "This is going to be a beautiful relationship. We have a driving force not only to our friendships with one another but also for the passion we have in the music we play, and we are so amped by the fact the Elysium hears what we do and can see the big picture. We already have so much new material that once it's recorded it will be ready for the Elysium stamp. "

We look forward to working with Madison Apart and being a part of their much deserved success!

Kick in the Pants bring an energetic punk, synth driven sound with unique vocal styles, and an extremely high energy stage presence that leaves you wanting more. Madison Apart Joins Mainstage

Due to complications with DC 101's Chili Cookoff, Rude Buddha had to drop off Throwdown 2006 Local Music Festival . On a good note, we acquired Woodbridge, VA's Madison Apart . They will be taking the Main Stage (Linear Sound Stage) at 5:00pm this Saturday.

Project Diverge Tour

Elysium Productions and Locals Only Radio have planned a new project to follow after Throwdown 2006. Beginning June 17th, 5 bands of diverse genres will be taking the various stages throughout DC, VA, and MD. The first show will take place at Jaxx in West Springfield, VA. This event will kickoff the tour with Eastwind , Madison Apart , Breakdown , The Young Lordz , and The I-Ternals .

The second show will take place in Gaithursburg, MD at Firestation 8 Bar & Cue. The bands playing this include Agents of the Sun , The Mayan Factor , Breakdown , The Young Lordz , and Eastwind .

More shows will be announced in the coming weeks.

Since Forming in late 2003 Madison Apart has been spreading like an uncontrollable fire from the mouths of anyone and everyone who has come in contact with them. Playing shows with bands such as Emery, The Beautiful Mistake, My American Heart, Hopesfall, Scarlet, The Burning Season, and Calico System, is not bad for a local unsigned act from Northern Virginia. Madison Apart is determined to be the first band to breakout from their hometown of Woodbridge VA. Madison Aparts music is best described by their fans as "Rock N Roll Get down music".
