About Me

Hailing from Ladbroke Grove in West London, Redskin has been on the UK music scene since 2003. He draws on a wide range of musical influences from Bob Dylan to Talib Kweli, and continues to listen to artists from across the globe embracing different sounds and incorporating them into his own brand of music. Redskin's debut mix tape The Remedy was released in 2005 and sold over 2000 units in 6 months.

Redskin can regularly be spotted on stage with a mic in hand at Fight Klub UK where he hosts a monthly open-mic night, and also performs regularly across London and throughout the UK. He has torn up the stage at prestigious venues such as the Princes Trust Urban Music Festival and the jazz stage at Glastonbury in 2005 which was followed by a host of dates up and down the country with YnR Records.

This year Redskin is about to embark on a string of European dates with Rising Son. On his return to the UK he will continue work on his sophomore release titled A Walk In The Park which will be released at the end of 2006.
