Steve Mc Carroll

Been involved with music for most of my life be it listening to my Dad's old vinyl as a nipper through to playing the odd instrument and djing. First club night I ever went to was the System in Dublin in 96. From then on my interest in dance music grew. I worked in HMV for 2 years and whilst there bought my first set of decks in 2001. After being involved in numerous dj competitions initially I was lucky enough to have my first ever mix CD choosen as a runner up in iDJ magazine. Since then I have been involved and Djed at various nights around Dublin mainly as part of the mixitmuzik crew including Soul Candy and have made appearances at venues such as the Pod, Wax, Traffic & The Cavern. I was also resdient in Spy Bar for over a year and with a few mates ran my own club night called Audio. At the moment I am living in London and have dabbling in production. Im a big fan of the new technology around at the moment and enjoy using Abelton aswell as the CDJ's.
