My name is Larry Mitchell and I am a tribal member of the Great Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation that lives in Northeast Kansas. I grew up there 'till I dropped out of high school and went into the army. I served in Vietnam with the 101st Airborne Division. I wrote a book about my tour of duty in Vietnam and the years that followed when I struggled with PTSD.
