Yes, I was a bad girl. Academia didn’t do it for me, and I was drawn to the only industry that welcomes my kind with open arms… music! I picked up a guitar 2 years ago and began to sing. Many random gigs and recording sessions later, including supporting Roots Manuva, co-writing and performing a track on Layo & Bushwacka's album 'Feels Closer' and backing vocals for Right Said Fred’s Rob Manzoli’s new album (alongside George Clinton and Lady Kia) there was no turning back!I am now finishing my jazz/funk/pop debut album, which has been recorded on a shoestring over the last year.
