I love music! Far too much to mention here. I had dyed hair in high school if that's an indication of anything. Will always lean towards English bands for pop music, miss the mods, punks, Britpop, Madchester, etc. We may have created jazz and the blues, but England produces the best bands.

I love almost all musical genres. Everything except that twangy Country-Western stuff, that is. Radio stations are all over the dial (no satellite yet), and NPR is good in the a.m. Rock concerts are a staple in the diet, but opera, classical music, ballet, world beat, blues, cabaret, jazz, old punk/New Wave/goth is great too...and bust out the funk!

Oh...Gene Wilder was one of my first cinema crushes, he is the MAN! There is only ONE Willy Wonka (sorry Johnny).

Most network TV shows are boring,... HBO has some good shows, though (Why did "Sex and the City" have to end?) Curb Your Enthusiasm & Big Love is fun...but I'm usually watching films or vintage TV shows instead. Somehow I relate a lot to Carrie Bradshaw in "Sex and the City"...

Hm, not enough space here. "The Unbearable Lightness of Being" - Milan Kundera. The beatniks on road trips... Robert Graves' chronicles of the Caesars (who need soap operas? throw out your televisions and read his stuff instead - scandalous and TRUE!)...I try to get through my "Economist" mags, but they've been piling up in the bathroom lately. Confession time, I've been known to flip through trashy magazine while stuck going through the check-out lines.
