SO WHO OR WHAT IS CIRCLE?
Circle is more of a concept than a thing or a single person. It is the music of singer / songwriter Radi Safi. Radi used to call himself Opanoni, but not anymore.
HOW LONG HAS CIRCLE BEEN AROUND?
Circle recorded under the name Opanoni for 3 years and released an EP in May of 2004 and a full length album (EGBDF) in May of 2006. Some of the music on the first EP which was called 'Stamps & Coins' had been around for three or four years before it was released. Radi's been writing music for as long as he can remember, some of which he'd much rather forget!
WHERE DOES CIRCLE LIVE?
Radi lives and works in the lovely inner west of Sydney, Australia. Friends gather from all four corners to rehearse and record in his small home based studio. One day he plans to have a much bigger studio with loads more gear. Apparently, you can never have too many guitars or synths!
