About Me

The Retreat
While most people rely on the coasts for the latest in entertainment, the Midwest continues its tireless campaign to rescue music from its current state of mediocrity. Missing Six brings their bass and drum driven indie pop rock to the frontlines with the release of their second full length CD, Lose Yourself.
Taking influences from jazz, rock, folk, electronic, and neo-classical works, they create palatable, yet subtly complex pieces. Depending on how they feel prior to any given performance, you might see anything from a jazz combo to a raucous rock show.
Missing Six has shared the stage with such acts as the Shiny Toy Guns, Extra Blue Kind, Liz Janes, Chris Shaffer, the Blacksoil Project, and Wolfy. Performances have included the Van's Warped Tour, Little 500, Independent Music + Art Festival, Midwest Music Summit, and shows at almost every major venue in Indianapolis.
Missing Six is planning to tour in the spring of 2007 and Lose Yourself is now available online and in independent music stores.
