Hello everyone. Please let me introduce myself, in case we haven't met. I am a saxophonist/woodwind player from Indianapolis. I grew up in a very musical household, with 2 musician parents and a trumpeting brother. Thankfully, this constant immersion gave me a great foundation to pursue my own interests in this genre. I studied at Indiana University under a great faculty and group of students (of which I am greatful). I am also indebted to everyone on the Indianapolis scene who has taught me (whether on the gig or off).
I love music. Jazz especially. This would have to be my primary passion. For me, there is no other way to express so much energy and emotion than through the creative freedom of improvising. Recently I’ve been trying to branch out/expand my musical awareness, so if there are things you like to listen to, please, shed the light on me!
And FYI, my not-so-little bro is a badass trumpet player, so watch out for him…
