NES' Picks
Oh, what a year it has been! Let's face it, even some of the most awesome artists out there release some pretty shitty singles. The kind of songs that make you ask yourself "Why?". The internet has brought culture to the masses on a new level. There are millions of links out there but clicking on most will lead to trouble with the RIAA, mess up your computer, or at the very least get you rick rolled. 2008 had some great free downloadable albums and EPs, here are some of our favorites.

"Where did the name The Relay come from? Originally the band started with Angel and I, in 2004. During this time we were on the track and field team at our high school. I don't know how Angel did, but I was horrible. Haven't finished one race. In the end, we both ended up quitting and I guess the name The Relay just came natural. The actual source where I got the name was from a song by The Who titled The Relay. This b-side wasn't well known to most Who fans so I thought I could borrow it.
The band has some varied tastes, what genre would you say your music falls into?
This is one of the hardest questions for me to answer. A lot of people have always asked me this and I don't know what to answer. In the beginning I guess Angel and I labeled ourselves..."
