Owner and founder of Ruffah Ras Records, Illicit brings a unique blend of newschool and oldschool vibe. He got his start in 1995 when Moonshine released "Law of the Jungle" compilation. Tracks by Shy FX and UK Apache, MC Olive 'n' Slam Collective, Junior Dan and so on, this is the album that inspired his sound. Since moving to Florida in 1998 he's emerged as both Ragga-Jungle DJ and Producer. Representing Mos-Hi, Top Ranking, Yardway Sound, Ruffah-Ras, Nuff Stylz, Jungle Bastard, Hum Fi Drum, and now Jungle Riddim. He has released 13 tracks on 8 12" Vinyl releases as well as being featured on the "Suvival Story Volume One" CD and upcoming releases on Hum-Fi Drum and Yardway Sound. Heard worldwide on dancefloors everywhere, and heard weekly on the interenet radio show "Tha Armory" alongside Mainframe, this is a ruling sound.
