I'm Jenny Witham, and I'm a 24 year old country singer with dreams of making a name for myself in the music world.
I've been performing since I was just four years old, starting in church. As I grew, I've been the featured act in pagents, talent shows, T.V. and radio shows throughout the country, including WSM 650 which is the original Grand Ole Opry.
I'm currently writing and collecting material for my second album, and auditioning musicians for an up coming tour.
What's New?:
8.6.07 - I am currently building a band and preparing to "gig out". This is strictly for major label interest that would like to see me perform live. I'll be auditioning players throughout the next month or so, and hope to be playing regularly just a little after that. If you're a musician for hire (looking for lead guitarist, drummer, and bassist) please be sure to send me an email. Can't wait to hear from everyone!
11.12.06 - I decided to record a new song... "Breathe" originally done by Faith Hill. Again, the quality of the recording kinda sucks due to it being done in one take on my home computer.. but whatcha gonna do, right? ^.~ Hope you like it!
9.28.06 - The new photos are up and available for preview.. yay for new pictures! I particularly like the ones in the white suit.. though the red halter top reflects my "country side". :)
I was bored, so I recorded a couple of new songs for y'all to enjoy. One is "Streets of Heaven" originally done by Sherrie Austin, and the other is "Strong Enough" by Sheryl Crow. I hope you like them both. They were done in one take and haven't had any retouching/mixing. So basically, this is a good representation of what you get when you see me sing live in concert. :) Oh, and excuse the quality of the recording. It was done with a cheap computer microphone. So if you hear static, it's not your speakers... it's in the song.
What I'm Listening To:
Johnny Cash "The Essential Collection". Imagine a CD collection with every Johnny Cash song recorded... and now imagine what good times that is! No matter how many times I listen to "Sunday Morning Coming Down", "One Piece At A Time", or "A Boy Named Sue", it never gets old. Mr. Cash was truly a pioneer, and a musical icon.
