Currently a writer for Better Angels Music Group, Jay’s songs are described as true as life itself, filled with emotion and the honesty of life’s lessons. He discovered his love and passion for music at an early age through his mother and grandfather, Pete Brunswick, who was a well-known singer and steel guitar player in the Pennsylvania area. He began writing songs and playing bars and honky tonks in and around Pennsylvania at the age of twenty with his first band, Heel-2-Toe. He spent a few years with the band before moving to Nashville. After a short time in Nashville he returned back to Pennsylvania to take a job with a Youngstown, Ohio band named “Lonewolfâ€. Following Lonewolf he decided to explore other goals and ambitions and formed his own band, “Lonesome Roadâ€. After a year of playing locally, they signed their first road deal with All Star Entertainment located in Virginia Beach, VA. Jay then moved back to Nashville to pursue his songwriting career. His music follows him through every path of life and will lead you down the same road. Jay has several cuts on the forthcoming album from Russell Hitchcock, of Air Supply.
