Tekk was born in Los Angeles, CA. When he was a child he would not play with regular toys he would always grab some pots & pans and bang on them So he was always into music . By the time he was 9 years old He moved to Lexington, Ky. From there he started rapping at the age of 12 recording on the old Home Alone recorders. From there he moved to computer microphones & anything he could get his hands on just playing around recording his voice. When he turned 17 he really started finding out he had a lot talent doing music & graphical designs so he started his own website to display them. He received a lot of good feedback so he took it even more serious, when he turned 18 he started booking his own shows & also started his own Independent record label Black Funeral Entertainment. He then started his own myspace.com artist page to display his music and he has gotten a lot of recognition from that reaching over 60,000 plays and 25,000 downloads within the first 3 months he had it. He then had a little buzz in Lexington. From there he started working with an artist by the name of Smurf who is signed to Black Life Records. He was also setting up shows and promoting smurf & himself. During that time He caught the eye of Black life Records and he was quickly signed and brought up to run the street team. He now Does both sides of his music being able to Design Flyers/Cd covers & All other promotion items, Also booking shows , promotions & Also rapping with black life ent. He has become a strong individual and a force to be reckoned with in this industry.
