Brittany Spaniels, theology, music (collect-write-perform), NJ trains (and the DC Metro), old movies, 19th century art, foreign travel, goldfinches.

I'd like to meet:

I like creative people. We seem to start out that way, and then, in the passage to middle age, we often put aside our personal passage to India. I like people who, regardless of age or profession, live a personally creative life.

Prog (esp. Porcupine Tree, Blackfield & Steven Wilson), Chris Isaak, classical organ, Chopin, Debussy's piano work, classic country, Cowboy Junkies, King Crimson, Rush, opera (1/2 of the Ring down, 1/2 to go), bluegrass.....and ELP of course.

Anything pre-1940.

Fiction: Fitzgerald, Dreiser, Sienkiewicz, Hardy, Dos Passos, Hemingway, Forster.

Heroes:

Too many to mention, but St. Maximilian Kolbe stands out. A truly great man who lived his faith and beliefs. RIP.
