The Würzburg-based band "The Slightest Evil" exists since 2003 with this musical orientation. At the beginning the band consisted of four members, because lead vocalist Marco played bass at this time, but due to time and rising claims to the bass and vocals each, Simon took the part at the bass in November 2005 and completed the band.The music played by "The Slightest Evil" is based on fast sweden death/thrash metal like at the gates or old naglfar, completed with some black metal elements in the songs of the 2005 demo-cd "187". On the first full length album "backyard fire poetry", that is temporarily in production, the main influence is more likely rough metalcore, supported by the two-voiced vocals. Death/Thrash metal remains though the main base for the songwriting.
