THE BOUM

Another english band

About Me

The boum are international voyagers, committed to travelling by the most stylish means possible and sharing the invariably rich and fascinating fruits of their cultural experiences. They write songs, make movies, exploratory audio tours, and memorable photo albums.
The boum are also a band...
half frog, half beef
Obviously, theboum, to get the most out of Paris, have to spend a lot of time on the terrasses and of course, they get to talk about politics and ideas. Its not all romance you know. That’s why they are the friends of Fairplaylist – an interesting and dynamic group of young thinkers who have a vision of a fairer, more interesting future for those who no longer want to salivate at the feet of the rich and famous.
Well lets face it, London is a bit of a mess and that’s why theboum’s friends in London are a bit like the crew of the starship enterprise, constantly braving new frontiers to make sense of the seemingly endless impenetrable universe of London.
That’s why clifftop and inspired artist friend,Sineid Codd, formed Umbrella Tours, a new hybrid of downloadable technology and cutting edge modern perspective that maps the the British capitol for visitor and resident alike.

My Interests

Music:

Band Website: euroboum.com
Band Members:GASTON MERCIER (lead vocals, guitars)

Gaston's ambition has lead to flirtations with the movie business almost resulting in him achieving his dream of becoming a TV weather presenter.

RAYMOND PLUS DE BASS (cello, vocals)

Ray, when he's not on stage, is a shy country boy who grew up in a region just to the west of London, called Berkshire where J.R.R.Tolkein wrote the Hobbit.

AUGUSTE PICPUS (accordions, melodica, piano, vocals)

Auguste is rough on the outside, but smooth on the inside his ambition is to be smooth both inside and out.

PHIL COLLINS (drums, vocals)

Phil continues to struggle to pronounce even the most basic English words without a ridiculous hick accent, and trundles around the country by-lanes in his pretty little van selling baguettes.

Influences: The "french chanson", obviously ...

Sounds Like: The soundtrack to travel between London and Paris
