Veillance was founded in early 2006 under a different name as a solo project by Marko V. The sound combines strong beats/percussions with harsh synthetic melodies but giving it some ambient touch as well. In late 2006, Veillance already got air-play on some radio stations in the US and Germany. Even though this project was still in development, some remixes have been done already in 2006. As a result of all the good feedback, Veillance self-released the EP United in mid 2007 including remixes by In[Perfektion] and DJ Shai and some marvelous artwork done by JirkoArt. The EP can be seen as a result of the development-phase of 2006. In October 2007, Veillance made it on the Orkus Compilation 33 and got a review in Zillo Music Magazine and by Chain D.L.K. as well.
Veillance is currently working on the first album, which may be released in late 2008.
Some years before the foundation of Veillance, Marko played e-bass in different bands and in September 2003 one of these bands made it into a first studio-recording, on which Marko got involved too. From 2001 until 2003, Marko also arranged different events near Berlin (Germany) and was active as a DJ and promotor for these events.
