About Me

.:Js.One:.
I've been a musician for just about my whole life. Started recording and producing my own music at 11. Then at 14, I began to produce CD's and cassettes for distribution to local shops. Then later on at 18, I started to play guitar and keyboards on recordings. Which led me to start playing open mics in NYC.
I have released countless recordings (albums/singles) to date (probably over 20 or 30), and I always find a way to transcend the boundaries of genres throughout the years. Maybe it was more of a progression. I started off at 11 recording indie/underground hip-hop, which consisted of breakbeat instrumentals over lyrics. Then when I started composing around 18, I got into singer/songwriter vibe. From there I went into psychedelic melodies, and a bit of indie. Later, I started experimenting in 'fusion' and funk.
The type of music I write at any given period depends on a couple factors: how I feel, what I'm listening to at that point in time, and what I have to say.

On The Radio

Finally sent some music out to some college stations. Got one song in rotation @ WXCI, which is great.

[Astral Projects]

Well, I decided to go ahead and launch a group to try and get [Astral Projects] off the ground. Hopefully I can get some creative musicians to join.

Astral Projects

I want to start an online label soon. I gotta get enough intrest for it to be decent. It would mainly be a collaboration of indie artists/musicians who record, or want to record their own music.
