Js.One
Hometown: Waterbury, Ct. Js.One in 10 years of recording has rocked many different styles of music...Hip-Hop, Funk, Indie, Soul-Jazz, Singer-Songwriter, ect. As lead guitar player of The Nubians, Js.One offers haunting melodies, and vocal range as well.Known for rocking bellbottoms and aviators hard. Also said to have multiple personalities
Sonny Jones
Hometown: Macon Georgia. Sonny Jones has been a blues cat since blues cats played the blues and felt it. Relocating north in search of shows and a change in his life, he found the Nubians, and adds an essential flavor to the crew.
Otis "Bassy jr"
Hometown: Harlem, NYC. Being the premiere bass player of the 70's funk/soul scene in Harlem, Bassy has a long standing reputation of tight soulful grooves.
Stony Watson
Hometown: Brooklyn, NYC. Stony Watson, a jazz piano virtuoso came upon Nubian Js.One many years ago after a show he played in Connecticut. Since, the two have created and collaborated as a side project.
Fela Femi
Hometown- Lagos, Nigeria. Fela grew up in the Afro-Beat tradition in Nigeria, learning, and mastering percussion at an early age. While attending university in NYC, Fela met soul singer Sparks who invited him to play percussion on his EP 'Do It To You' in 2005.
Extended Family & Guests Sparks Soul-singer from the 'new jack swing' era. Close collegue of Js.One, and has appered on several of his recordings.
