Connekted presents......
Connekted was conceived in 2004 and began when Gareth Waters and fellow connekted DJ Jason Bennett created the name for a weekly radio show on Torfaen's 107.5 CrowFM.
Since then, Connekted has grown from strength to strength. In August through to November 2005, Connekted had a fortnightly residency at OneParkPlace in Cardiff, aswell as a weekly listen-on-demand show
on 'Toradio-Underground'.
For 5 months (Jan - may 2006) Connekted also held a weekly residency at The Cotton Club, Newport. This gave us the chance to spread our Connekted brand amongst the people of Newport, and give them a fresh new style of music that had yet to be heard. This period also saw the introduction of Newport's Nathan Evans into the Connekted brand, bringing his very own style of electro & tech house music.
For 2007, we have also introduced DJ Casey Lee Jones onto our DJ roster. At only 19 years old, Casey is already resident for premiere house label 'Azuli', aswell as a regular on the turntables at legendary London
club 'Turnmills', supporting the likes of Nick Warren, Marco V & Paul Oakenfold.
Connekted’s latest weekly residency has been at Newport's coolest venue, Revolution Bar, where we have presented ‘Frisky Fridays With Connekted’ and 'DIRTY.FILTHY.SEXY.COOL'.
This year, we aim to bring the very best in international, aswell as home-grown local talent to support the Connekted brand. We are also in the process of continuing our support with OXFAM by organising 'OXJAM 07'after the great success of last year's exclusive event.
A big thank you to everyone who supported us in 2006, heres to a very filthy 2007!
