The wackiest Ska comes from the south? We do think so!!
From a small town called Roermond in the south of the netherlands comes Sideshift Harry with an energetic mixture of Ska, Reggae & Punk. But theyre not scared to do some serious flirting with various styles like surf and disco either. Therefore its almost impossible not to move your feet during their shows. It's officially one of Harrys main aims to entertain, interact with the crowd and make sure everyone has a good time.
Sideshift Harry recently released their debut album Denkska *** which can literally be translated into Think Ska. They also had a nice shot at a Pinkpop gig (The Netherlands most famous open-air festival) by making their way into the finals of a well known Dutch band battle. And they appeared on the radio (check the songs-section to the right for a recording of 1 of our performed songs)
So there you have it: Ska - energy - having a good time - good music - beer & lots of fun in one package, what more do u want?
