Hello, Good day and Welcome to this website. I am Tim Lovejoy and this is my official MySpace page.
I've been doing this site with my team of computer whizz kids for about 6 months now and I reckon we're just about getting the skills . 70,000 friends isn't bad as a start. We're adding new videos every week, and I'm trying to keep you up to date with what me and my mates are up to both in and out of work via the medium of blog. We've also started doing competitions on the blog where you can win stuff for free.
I've said it before, but although we do read each and every one of your comments and messages, it's too hard to reply to them all. So I've answered some of the most frequently asked questions here:
Q: Is this really you?
A: Yes.
Q: How do I get a job on Soccer AM?
A: Get lucky. We don’t generally have jobs going as the boys love working on the show. Sky Sports do offer unpaid work experience placements but demand is high so they can’t promise anything.
Q: How do I get to be a Soccerette?
A: Send us a recent photo or video to
[email protected] along with any interesting facts which might help your application. Soccerettes do need to be over 18 but there’s no upper age limit. Yummy Mummies are welcome.
Q: How do I get to be a fan of the week?
A: Firstly, find 7 friends who support the same team. We understand that can be difficult if you support a team like Torquay, but them’s the rules. Then, at risk of repeating myself, you need to send your details to
[email protected] with any interesting facts which might help the boys do their research.
Q: Can I come to watch Soccer AM being filmed?
A: Yes, possibly, but keep it to yourself. We're going to try and offer limited spaces to myspace friends when we've thought how we can do it fairly. I suppose we're going to have to have a secret society or something.
Q: Can you get me a date with Helen Chamberlain, Vicky Butler Henderson or Amanda Hamilton?
A: No, they all have boyfriends. I'll let you know if any of them go back on the market.
Q: You and Helen…have you ever…?
A: She's tried on more than one occasion....we'll leave it at that.
Q: How do I send a video clip?
A: Email it to
[email protected] or send it via MMS to 84401, with keyword SOCCERAM. We may use it on TV or on the Internet, so only do this if the clip belongs to you and you are happy with it being shown.
Q: What’s the biggest diamond in the world?
A: I used to say Anne, but she’s done really well for herself recently. It’s the Cullinan, it weighed 0.62 kg uncut.
Q: Can I have a signed photograph of Tubes?
A: No. Please don’t encourage him.
Q: Can you give me advice on getting into TV?
A: That’s a hard one. I might write about this some time as it's not easy. I went through quite a lot of years of depression.
