Take it up a notch.

About Me

I’m an American living in London slung here on fate’s fine wind to be with the man of my dreams. We’re getting partnered this summer here in London with little fanfare, but lots of flare. I hope.I’m serious. I party. Sometimes I seriously party. I am quiet and kind in a loud, unconventional way. My favourite things right now include morning cappacino, a good hard workout, occasional conversations with a true-hearted friend, my hair, my sister, living abroad, and of course my husband to be.

My Interests

Gym, reading, travel, the beach, gardening, yoga, alternative medicine, filmmaking.

I'd like to meet:

Other like-minded people. I have to admit, I prefer boys to girls. Other amateur film makers for collaboration.

Music:

If it moves me or shakes me, then I like it. How about some Indigo Girls! Love 'em.

Movies:

If it moves me, shakes me, or makes me laugh, I like it. The best movie for me is Reality Bites.

Television:

I like 'Bones', 'Weeds', and 'America's Next Top Model' best. I like my books serious, but my tele trashy.

Books:

I love to read and drift strongly toward good writing. Bow down to the glorious Toni Morrison. Mark Helprin and Colm Toibin get a big up too. Most recently I read 'A Piece of Cake' by Cupcake Brown--a hard core tale of triumph that exposes the grittiness of her struggle against the system, the street, drugs, and herself.

Heroes:

None.

We partied last night.

We partied last night. But, it started out a slow motion Saturday full of doubt whether it was all worth making the effort to get it all together, meet friends, and step beyond the black doors into t...

Rain for days.

The winter in England is dark. The sun rises around 8 a.m. and can go away just after 4 p.m. It's depressing and weird. So,  I was literally reaching out for the English summer after such a long ...
