Fosbury Flop, with its alternative Hip Hop lyrical style (Shane Christensen from San Francisco California) mixed with the smooth groove vocals (Anja Engel) was established in the beautiful town called Potsdam. The mix consisting of funky Bass (Karina Piersig) and foot tapping Drumbeats (Robert Saling), becomes a melange of harmony with both conventional and synthetic keyboard sounds (Tobias Thiele) and clean, straight Electric Guitar(André Giese). The fun factor definitely is based on the stylistic variation in the music. There is a constantly fresh wind coming from the speakers and shows a steady inspiration from Jazz, Orient, Blues, Latin, Folk and Off-Beat Sounds.
