About Me

I'm a healer, paying the bills and feeding my other passion (food) as a supervisor at an Italian deli/food store. After an exceptionally bad year, I cut my losses and moved to San Francisco at the insistence of my brother. To be fair, I knew from my first visit(at 15), that I wanted to live here at some point in my life. I've been out here for almost three years now and I really love it! I might be living in the Garden of Eden. Other than a brief stint in Vermont and a 5 month tour of duty in Fayettenam, I lived in Little Rock, Arkansas my whole life. Go Hogs! Definitly needed a change of pace. And, I am precisely where I am supposed to be. I'm not talking shit mind you, my roots are as deep as they come. Arkansan by the grace of the Goddess. You know the South does breed the best eccentrics. What else? I have a child. Y'all don't get all worked up. I am referring to my roommate's dog. He is a French bulldog. His name is Muddy Waters and he might be the only child I'll ever have. If that is the case, I am okay with that. He loves his momma. Movies, art, good books, music, wine, food. I'm studying astrology and aromatherapy. I'm a reiki practitioner. One of those weirdo new age believers and all that. Yeah go ahead, laugh now. And then when I'm an ascended master after only 5 more lifetimes we'll see whose laughing then. I believe that everyone is spiritual whether they want to be or not. We all find it somewhere, people. Mostly healthy and well adjusted people. But not boring, I hate boring. I'm also not interested if you are more negative, narrow minded or fake than you've ever been in your life. Oh yeah, and not if you are offering me free ringtones or a $300 giftcard to Victoria's Secret or an iphone or whatever. Having said that, I would actually to own an iphone. I have succumbed to the seduction...

I am really all over the map here. Especially if it's really uncool. Seriously. You people would roll your eyes if you even knew.

Movies:

Closer, The Dancer Upstairs, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Sunset Boulevard, Napoleon Dynamite, anything by Wes Anderson or Christopher Guest or Charlie Kaufman (especially Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind), Pi, House of Sand and Fog, Sex, Lies and Videotape, The Labyrinth, City of Lost Children, anything with Johnny Depp or Viggo Mortensen, Zoolander, Pinero, City of God,Chicago, Sweet and Lowdown, any Monty Python, The Exorcist,really bad horror movies, Psycho, The Big Lebowski, Blood Simple ( I like the Coen Brothers), Charade ( I love Audrey Hepburn), I'm not typing anymore. I like movies, okay?

Television:

Top Chef, Project Runway and any other reality show on Bravo. Even though I think I might be the last person to give in to the evil vacuum that is reality tv. Also, I like the Daily Colbert Report Show and House (although I never get to watch it) and Grey's Anatomy (at least the first season) and ditto for Desperate Housewives. But I hate/don't watch tv. Oh yeah, and nature shows and documentaries,

Books:

The Prince of Tides, anything by Tom Robbins especially Jitterbug Perfume, anything by Tennessee Williams, William Faulkner, Flannery O'Connor, Angels and Demons and the Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown, anything my stepdad (James Morgan) has written, and I'm really, really geeked out on Harry Potter right now. Anything by my momma. Beth Arnold Morgan. The tide is a comin'.
