MOKO: SHORT HISTORY
Pietro Allegrini, aka Moko, was born in Norcia on the 12th June 1984, and started to work in ’95.
At the age of 11 he buys his first console, inspired by the scratch of the “hip hop” djs, of the early ’90s that he used to watch on tv.
The next year he occasionally plays as “bimbo dj”, in the little disco's of his own town.
In ’97, he moves to Bastia Umbra (PG) and starts to expand his musical knowledge with new kinds of music, and music tapes mixed by him and Dj Ramax, can be found, they are entitled “Pornotape vol 1”, “vol 2”......
In ’99 helped by his friend and partner Master Enjoy, he starts to work in several clubs in Umbria and in the riviera adriatica.
In 2000 starts buying the first musical instruments and putting togheter his own recording studio, the “Meik Studios”, where he makes pieces for the dancefloor and exaperimentations of electro/ambient music.
He remains a freelance dj ‘till 2003, he plays at D'Ali' disco (Vt) ,the Ecu of Rimini and at the Cotton Club of Riccione.
Later on, he starts the collaborations with rave and afterhour events, playing in every “Starfucker” show (a touring rave with more than 10.000 people), and at parties “Welcome to hell” , “Nature Parade” & "Tunneldrome".
In 2004 he becomes a Red Zone Club’s dj, in the “Club in the club” lounge, (area under the artistic supervision of Master Enjoy and Luca Sebastiani of Soundz), together with Dj Lory, Marco Cucchia and Andrea Romani.
During summer he plays in several clubs , such as Cotton Club, Echoes / Liz, Prince ,Cellophane , Peter Pan & Diabolika / Nrg.
In 2005 his music is part of the soundtrack of “PCL: U 58076 KLAUSCHWITZ”, a short film realized by Bartek Truszkowski and Angelo Moretti for “Virus Cinelab Production”.
In 2005, the new record label: Soundz Recordz, was founded, where Master Enjoy, Dj Phunk, Luca Sebastiani and Moko himself are the directors.
In June 2005 his first album e.p., entitled “Acidahouse” was released, starting the production of the newborn label.
Proceeding from there,
in 2006, the new productions like “Soundz Recodz E.p”, are released; they are composed by Dj Phunk, Andrea Ribeca, Moko and Francesco Zappalà.
Later on, even “Classicahouse E.p” on Soundz Recordz and the project signed The Object – “To me” on Emotiva records, are released; they are written by Moko, Marco Gabrielli and Fabrizio Vignaroli .
He is currently in the recording studio working on the next releases, among wich can be found the collaborations with Master Enjoy, Francesco Zappalà, Viceversa, Richi El, Dj Emix, Andrea Ribeca, Massimo Cominotto, Gianluca Motta, Andrea Romani, Dj Lory, D. Lewis, Marco Cucchia, Dj Phunk, Fabrizio Vignaroli, Marco Gabrielli, Valentino Spera, Leik e Fabio Stein.
