My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Omar Cruz

If Hip Hop is dead? Omar Cruz formerly known as Blunts LLA (Latin Lyrical Assassin) is ressurecting it by opening ears all around with his sick lyrical flow, beginning in the summer of 2005 with his mixtape classic "City of Gods". Followed through by delivering "Blow: The Final Chapter", thus, catching the attention of major record executives in the music industry such as Jimmy Iovine from Interscope and Tom Panunzio of Geffen. "The Cruzifixion" which was heavely anticipated on the streets proved to be well recieved all over the nation. Six months later, Omar Cruz released a free mixtape called "2007 B.C.(Before Cruz)" which is a compilation of his previous works that brought him to where he is standing now...AT THE TOP!!!. Omar Cruz has appeared in many different hip hop magazines, including "XXL", "Scratch", "The Source" among others.(read articles below) He is currently in the booth, on tour and in the music trying to bring hip hop to a new elevation beacuse its lonely at the top, so make sure to keep your eyes and ears open for his highly anticipated debute album dropping under B.Y.I/Interscope/Geffen Records..."The Sign of The Cruz"

Rome AKA R.O. is the official music producer for B.Y.I Entertainment and has worked along with Omar Cruz on every mixtape from "City of Gods", "Blow: The Final Chapter","The Cruzifixion," And now "2007 B.C. (Before Cruz)". Rome has created some of the best music to this day in his young music career. Rome is currently in the studio creating ill symphonies for "The Sign of The Cruz"...with street ruwkus like his...how could tracks be anything but fire. PURE STREET DAMAGING SOUNDWAVES!

Jay Ortez

Music:

The Cruzifixion

With beats from in-house Producers ROME (10 tracks) and Javie Lopez (2 tracks), O snatched up a beat from Julian Bunetta , who produced for Hush ; as well as another producer, by the name of Xtreme . With all original tracks, this could be considered a Street Album, more so than a Mixtape. Keeping the features to a minimum, O Dot only uses family as the guests on Cruzifixion. Javie Lopez' artist Raw Deal drops the hook on “ My World ”. BYI's in house singer J.Ortez lends his vocals on two tracks (“ We Right Here ” & “ Let's Go (The Show) ”). Lastly, O's right hand man, Merzevelli hops on “ Cops Gang Bang ,” and is the only other person to have a verse on the entire street album, outside of O.Cruz.Here are two tracks for you to check out, which you may have heard but have not been able to download. In the tracklist you'll find the L.A. anthem “ We Rydaz .”" We pump that soft and that hard like we El Debarge to the beat of the rhythm of the City Of Gods " ...Then there is “ Cops Gang Bang ” featuring Merzevelli. The ominous ROME beat and a “Screwed Up” O.Cruz voice sample set the serious tone for this ode to crooked cops. “Walk with me so you can see how these LAPD muthafuckas is living so dirty, some of ‘em claim hoods, some of ‘em still ride, some of ‘em is movin' birdies”
