I am a gift from God to the music industry. I don't say that in arrogance or confidence but just recognizing the gift that God has given to me and the anointing He has placed on my life.Sonya Griffin,mother of two. Sonya started her musical career at tender age of 4, singing the sermonic solo every Sunday in a small church in LA. A former Minister of Music, Sonya now serves as one of the Choir Directresses and Worship Leader of The Friendship Baptist Church in Yorba Linda, CA.Sonya has had the privilege of sharing the stage with such greats as, the late Revered James Cleveland, Daryl Coley, Patti Labelle, Gladys Knight, Dawkins & Dawkins, Joan Biaz, Karen Clark-Sheard, Vanessa Bell-Armstrong, Dorinda Clark-Cole, and Kelly Roland, just to name a few. Sonya has also graced the nation with her own recordings with the LA Mass Choir under the direction of Donald Taylor singing, “The Lord is Holy”, “He Lives Today”, the Grammy nominated song, “That’s When You Bless Me” and many more.Sonya operates under the anointing of God and following His direction. Sonya’s heart is our Young people and ministering to Women. Sonya allows her flexibility, creativity and anointing to flow freely throughout her ministry to do the work of the Lord.
