Well I have many interests - not all of them are ones I participate in. Some are on my big list of things to do before I die...
Writing - scripts, commercials and just stupid funny stuff is my specialty. I tried to be poetic but it didnt work so well (check out my blog).
Pretty much the whole movie making process fascinates me - always has.
The rest is a mixture of things I do, have done and want to do...
Yoga, martial Arts, Salsa dancing, going to the gym, hiking, boating (dont kow one damned person with a boat), travel, shopping (Im really good at that), always reading something, SPADES - oh ya - bring it on!! Self improvment...learning and dong new things (as long as it doesnt involve jumping from high moving objects.)
I'd like to meet:
TALENTED, CREATIVE PEOPLE. OTHER SINGLE (or not) MOMS - I dont know enough of ya! Anyone who can bring a smile to my face & make me laugh. I know all the girls on my top friends list (except one personally) but the rest are writers and film makers I consider to be very talented. I dont know ALL of them personally but I have enjoyed reading their stuff - if you are also a writer or appreciate good writing, go ahead and check them out!
Music:
I pretty much have an open mind for music. I listen to everything from country to Hip Hop but I absolutely LOVE LOVE Love the Old School. Cant get enough of it and every time I think I have it all, I remember something I dont have and open a whole nother can of worms!!! A few of the goodies on my list are: Tony Terry, Rene and Angela Winbush, LTD, Earth Wind & Fire, Gladyss Knight, Rose Royce, Karen White, Klymaxx, Chilites, Denise Williams, Sly, Brenda K Star, Atlantic Star, Evelyn Champagne king, George Benson, O'Jays, DR BUZZARDS ORIGINAL SAVANNAH BAND (this ones one of my all time fav's), Lenny Williams (antoher one of my all time Favs), Donny Hathaway, Teddy Pendegrass, Sade, Prince, Surface, Luther, Kashif, Miles, Minnie Ripperton, & Troop to name a few...Like I said the collection just keeps on growing. Also love all my 90's music - brings back the best of the BAD memories LOL - Outkast - Southern playlistic yada yada, shoot, I cant even start these ones...
On my current (newer stuff) music playlist are artists such as Anthony Hamilton, Common, Nas, Ne-Yo, Tre Songz, Floetry, Mobb Deep, Jon B., Kanye West, how could I forget Jaime Foxx?? Leela James - love her too, MJB, Jill Scott & Heather Headley - getting tired of typing, add more later...maybe one day Ill get up the energy to list my fav songs but you can get the pic here right?

I dont really watch TV anymore - I read, I write, I study & I play with my girls and I sleep.Shows of the past...

Heroes:
Anyone, famous or not who has fought and/or suffered for the betterment of the human condition. We have come leaps and bounds (Or have we?) but still have so much more we can improve on!I also admire those of us who are brave enough to fearlessly follow the path to their dreams. Any of you who live and love with open hearts and minds are truly my heros and people I aspire to become like.My girls...everyday they truly amaze me - and I amaze myself because I never thought it in me to create not one, but TWO great kids. My only wish is for them to follow their hearts to happiness and fulfillment no matter what they do.
