View Elle Gallo 's EPK Having gone from a wildchild party girl/rebel donned in spandex and thigh high boots chasing rock concerts to a well respected and sought after speaker at the Massachusetts Senate and State House as well as most public schools in the area to the Miss America Pageant where she represented Massachusetts to a suburban mother of 3; Elle’s experiences, her genuine love of people and her quest for authenticity have created a woman and a musician who connects with audiences of all types on many levels. Her honesty and her belief in being “real and visible” resonate with deeply with those she comes in contact with. Add that to a voice which has been called “a true force of nature” and you’ve got one powerful musical experience!She prides herself on knowing her audience which makes every show different. Whether she is singing originals with her artistic acoustic duo ACOUSTIC SOUL; throwing an all out party with her pop/rock/blues coverband ON THE ROCKS, coyote ugly-ing at your favorite local bar, singing Motown, R&B and jazz with great Boston musicians at corporate functions, torchy piano bar standards in hotels, or belting out Broadway hits in community theaters with A NEW METROPOLIS; her audience walks away in a blur. They’ve gone on a journey and each show takes them to a new unexplored destination. “We never know where we’ll end up until we are there” Elle says with a smile. “I remember a night when a fellow musician said to me ‘when I play, I want my audience to wake up the next day and say Man, that band was awesome!’. When I perform” Elle states, “I want my audience to say ‘I saw Elle Gallo’s band last night, and I feel different today’. I want to stir their spirit as they stir mine-to reach people on a soul level.”It doesn’t matter if she’s reaching out with her own lyrics to make a statement “How can we all just sit back, and let our young men die, we’re all held responsible when our neighbor’s babies die”..or Mustang Sally..she sings every song like it’s her last. “It took me many years to get out of my own way and try to make a go of music. It I faced a lot of personal demons to get back on stage after my babies. I’m so grateful to have the support of my husband and my audiences.
