About Me

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.......
Now the fun begins."There are few human beings who receive the truth complete and staggering, by instant illumination. Most of them acquire it fragment by fragment, on a small scale, by successive developments, like a mosaic." ~ Anais Nin"There are three kinds of people in the world: those who make things happen, those who watch things happen, and those who don't even know anything is happening." ~ old adageREGINA SPEKTOR: "REAL LOVE""It is not recognized in the full amplitude of the word that all freedom is essentially self-liberation--that I can only have as much freedom as I procure for myself." ~Max Stirner"While it may be intangible, self-esteem is not invisible. --Chances are that people you most like being with possess it in abundance. These people are frequently described as "gracious" and "thoughtful", which makes them desirable as friends."..."They love and care for themselves but are not arrogant. They have compassion for others, which rises out of their compassion for themselves."..."in their presence you feel safe and accepted just as you are. In fact, when you leave them you may find that you like yourself a bit more." ~ Barbara Winter"We all deliver personal peace to ourselves. No maid or money does it. We do it reaching towards excellence." ~ Norman LearCAT POWER: "THE GREATEST""As soon as you trust yourself you will know how to live." ~Goethe"Alas for those who never sing and die with all their music in them." ~Oliver Wendell Holmes"I intend to spend my life going in the direction of my dreams, not in the direction of my fears." ~Jennie WinterStevie Nicks (w/ Tommy Petty) - Stop Draggin' My Heart Around

You've got to jump off cliffs all the time and build your wings on the way down."~ Ray Bradbury"A first rate soup is more creative than a second rate painting." ~Abraham Maslow

My Interests

Music, Art, TV, Wine and Stinky Cheese, Movies, riding my BigWheel, the usual.

I'd like to meet:

Fearless people. Anyone I knew in a past life. Andy Warhol, Peter O'Toole, Ginger Rogers, David Bowie, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Ruth Riechl, Anthony Bourdain, Hey I just realized I have no world leaders or politicians. Hmmmm. Well I would like to meet the Dali Lama. And there are a lot of people I'd like to meet just to give them a piece of my mind, I mean discuss some issues...Who I'd really like to meet is: anyone genuine."This is the true joy in life: being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one, being a true force of Nature instead of a feverish little clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy. I am of the opinion that my life belongs to the whole community, and as long as I live, it is my privilege to do for it whatever I can I want to be thoroughly used up when I die. For the harder I work, the more I live. I rejoice in life for its own sake. Life is no brief candle to me; it’s a sort of splendid torch which I’ve got to hold up for the moment and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations."~ George Bernard ShawThe Go Go's Our lips are sealed
