76 Coffee

It's not smoky in here... no, it isn't.

About Me

I am a 24-Hour coffee house that is far too filled with cigarette smoke. I am exploding with Fair Trade/Organic coffee-y goodness, and to top it off, all the beans here were roasted in my basement. I am a wonderful place to meet wonderful people.

My Interests

Coffee, smoking, books, zines, stolen pens, large yellow legal pads, band posters, yard ornaments left here by customers, televsions that are never shut off.

I'd like to meet:

Smart, fun, interesting people who know how to clean up after themselves and understand the phrase "One Drink Minimum"

Music:

!!!, (smog), 1-Speed Bike, 13&God, Air, Beck, Rolling Stones, Nirvana, Sonic Youth, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Solex, Sage Francis, Karate, Eastern Youth, A Silver Mt. Zion, White Stripes, Jolie Holland, Tom Waits, Weezer, Dead Kennedys, Arcade Fire, Johnny Cash, Nina Simone, Against Me!, Alias, Dirty Three, The pAper chAse, Elk City, Wild Billy Childish, Bonnie "Prince" Billy, Blonde Redhead, VNV Nation, Neutral Milk Hotel, Bright Eyes, The Faint, Cursive, The Good Life, Smashing Pumpkins, Sneaker Pimps, Stereolab, Modest Mouse, Julie Ruin, The Sewing Terrorists, That Dog, Decemberists, The Clash, Throwing Muses, Kimya Dawson, The Unicorns, Ozma, Totally Radd!!, Sufjan Stevens, Crass, The Vaselines, Gumball, Spoon, Sigur Ros, Sick Lipstick, Godspeed You! Television:

Rei is still freaking out over the last episode of LOST, Tim and Ryan stopped watching television, subsisting only on podcasts (ryan), videogames (tim), and movies. Jake likes Adult Swim, and Sarah is too poor to know what television is.

Books:

Christ almighty do we like books. Many, MANY books. Talk to us about them.

My Blog

We have people everywhere.

You know, if you run a social place like a coffee shop for any significant amount of time, you are going to get a fair amount of regular customers.  Those customers start to see a lot of each oth...

November is in full swing, republicans have nothing but gallows humor to get them through the cold, long night, and that warm, golden-lit coffee shop is keeping up appearances as the sole point of lif...
