Specualtive fiction, sci fi, fantasy, horror, evening news (I know I know Im sick) comedy, Name a show in those catagoreys If I havent seen it I've probably heard about it. And not just shows and movies, their's books too. I is weelll red. (spelling mistakes intentially for humor effect geezzz)
So I'll probably post occasional reviews in my blog, usually when I feel like it. (me not much on wrighting heh)
I'm also interested in the fine art of metal smithing, aka making jewelry and no I don't mean stringing beads I'm talking the hammering of silver, the cutting of copper the fusion of intricate or simple shapes that are unique, the setting of precious, semi precious, and shucks even just pretty rocks.
Another interest is well er hum how do i put this.
I like to look at pretty women, especially if they're tall.
And I mean just look at them, there's something beautiful about em. Without even having to do anything. (I like to look at sunsets too, without having to be amourous about it.)
Joss Whedon the cast of Serenity, the cast of Buffy, John Ringo, David Weber, Robert Heinlein (yeah I know I'd still like to meet him). Eric Flint, Dean Koontz, Stephen King, David Sherman, S.M. Stirling,
eh you get the idea I'm more impressed by writers than actors.
Oh a little bit of everything and I do mean everything. Except for anything with a base tone that travels four blocks further than the rest of the music. But thats ok its a free country they have a right to their music and I have a right to tell them it sucks and for me to NOT listen to it. nuff said.
Hey this note is for JOHN RINGO, thanks for the music lists in you Posleen war books, I tracked the music down and it really made the books more memorable. I epically enjoyed 'Gust Front'.
Almost everything, sci fi, horror, comedy, action,
but not drama, that frightens me. No really it does. Which is more likely to kill you a bloodsucking vampire with blond hair and the name spike. Or your new girlfriends psycho ex boyfriend whos very jealous.
Show that I really enjoyed that were killed.
Gilmore girls (yeah well)
Invasion
Megas xlr
Star trek (to be continued?)
Stargate SG1
Enterprise (hey it was getting reeaaallly Good towards the end.)
Babylon 5 (sleep in light)
Voyager
Surface
Threshold,
Current shows that I do like now though are:
Doctor who
Robot Chicken
Smallville
Stargate Atlantis
(Hell anything to do with Star trek, or scifi and fantasy and thats just the recent list. Yeah I know I watch to much tv. Gotta work on that.
Hmmm Still have a TV addiction, just recently got addicted to House, Burn notice, Eureka, Bionic woman, chuck, Supernatural, Moonlight, CSI (All),Life,Ice road truckers, Sorta liked PainKiller Jane except for the oppressive Govt angle.
Still making up my mind about the Masters of science fiction the first 2 episodes were kinda preachy and discounted true evil a bit too easily. Heroes is a great show can't wait for season 2. (Yes I've started watching)
ohh ohhho ohhh REALLY cant wait for the Sarah Connor chronicles, I just like the whole concept they have for this show. But Damn, why wait till Jan or Feb of 08.

Once I was into survivalism (back in the mid 80's) and I was convinced that civilization was going to end. You know the stuff in the movies, plagues, asteroids, nukes etc. And was always preparing to survive. I was convinced absolutely that something like that was going to happen. And I was slacking off my school work, getting paranoid and the like. Basically the whole survivalist biz.
When my Dad asked me, "How are you going to survive if civilization DOESN'T end?" So far he's been more right than me. Hell, more right than most experts. Thanks Dad, for keeping me straight. I miss you.
It's easier to prepare for death, than it is to prepare for life. Prepare to Live anyway.
So you see, my heroes are those who maintain, while at the same time strive to create and improve civilization.
