About Me

For the record, let’s just start by saying there’s not going to be some great future civilization looking back at what people in our century or millennium were up to and think things about us that they don’t already know. So, that being said, it obviously doesn’t really matter what we’re up to, in the grand scheme of things. We could be doing a Samba record or doing a commercial for Toast and Bread® or perhaps an independent film called “The Lonliest Drummer.” It doesn’t matter. These would simply be unnecessary details in a small chapter headed, “People made some music for a while, and then everyone blew up.” And if they do talk about anyone in particular, it’s going to be all about Beethoven. “Oh, that Beethoven. Songs Five and Nine are my favorite.” “Oh, no shit…really? Of course, the fucking pop songs.” But, alas, this is a bit of a run-on, and, using as many commas as possible,,, as they say, brevity is wit.
We’re doing a whole new band.
We were getting the itch and decided that instead of scrapping everything and starting over, we would simply practically scrap everything and pretty much start over. It was much easier. So now, instead of Jesus and the Devil, call us Plain Clothes Murders, or whatever.
“Shoot the gitteen, boy.. Shoot the gitteen, booy!” my Grandpappy used to say. I don’t know what the hell it means; nobody does. Sorry, there’s not much to say, so we’ve got to kind of pad this thing out a bit.
We have a bunch of all new songs: some recorded a bit, some on the way to being recorded a bit. It’s a little different from stuff we’ve done in the past, so we figured we’d give it its own thing, so to speak. Or maybe it’s not. We don’t know, actually. Again, the details are irrelevant. Although, these are some songs that would be great to hear on a carousel or maybe in a schoolhall lunch programme or even while you’re also listening to other fine music that sounds superb with it. We say, to each his own. And we try not to judge, because you know what they say…
By the way, our influences are Beethoven and Beethoven. Thank You. Drink Sprite.
