Myspace Images @ PimpMyComNow a series of simply awesome pictures and sounds for you to wallow in!!!First, to ease you in...a modern take on that psychedelic classic ‘My Friend Jack Eats Sugarlumps’ by The Smoke…Onto the Grateful Dead in 1969 with 'St Stephen'…just proving that even then, hippie was not the fashion choice of all TV studio audiences…This is for the true devotee! Rare footage of The Fugs from the movie Chappaqua (1966)And now, the truly magnificent Fugs again, this time in 1968, (this is part 2 of a Swedish TV documentary), with a live performance of ‘The Garden is Open’ from the band’s legendary album ‘Tenderness Junction’ and ‘Supergirl’.

Pimp My ProfileWe think it about time you had some more Incredible String Band, so, just in case you thought you'd got all the answers....here's they are with 'The Half-Remarkable Question'...Now, an awesome run of rare scenes from the wonderful world of the BoxFiles....Spot the famous faces in this video, made once The Monkees had learned how to play their instruments, ‘Listen to the Band / Psychedelic Free-For All’…this one’s for Paul…you know who you are!Early Marc Bolan with Steve Peregrine Took performing ’Sara Crazy Child’ at London’s legendary UFO Club in 1967. Introduction by a very cool-looking John Peel…The Graham Bond ORGANization at 1965’s Richmond Jazz Festival playing ‘Hootchy Coochy Man’. Awesome line-up….Ginger Baker (drums) and Jack Bruce went on to form Cream with Eric Clapton (after Baker has sacked Bruce from this band – that’s why Cream split after only a short time!) while Dick Hecksall-Smith moved to John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers (another Clapton link – he played with Mayall before joining Baker and Bruce in Cream). You knew the BoxFiles were educational didn’t you!!!!Talking of John Mayall, there’s not much video around, so here’s an early appearance on a US TV show in which the band (including a very young Mick Taylor who had replaced Clapton in the Bluesbreakers and was to replace Brian Jones in The Rolling Stones within a year) show that they’re not really into miming! Here's a little more recent something from Brazil that caught the Box Files' attention. See what you think..... width="425" height="350">.. .. ..>And now a touch of culture from Alan Ginsberg performing a version of the Hare Khrishna Chorus first recorded by him and The Fugs on their awesome 1968 album 'Tenderness Junction'....Enjoy.. width="425" height="350">.. .. ..>Now, those of you who haven't known who Allen Ginsberg is may think there is a significant resemblance to a man who can be seen lurking in the background of Dylan's iconic music video for 'Subterranean Homesick Blues'. Allen, in fact, wrote the words on the cards Dylan uses as props!!!! Just to prove it, here it is, direct from a New York alleyway...... width="425" height="350">.. .. ..>And, next, a clip from iconic movie Blow Up with the Yardbirds playing in a club scene..... width="425" height="350">.. .. ..>Now, do yourself a favour and listen to this!!!! The Pirates with the greatest-ever British Rock ‘n’ Roll song, ‘Shaking All Over’...For those who weren't aware, Mick Green (lead guitar) was in the Dakotas when they backed Billy J Kramer…'Little Children this surely isn't!!!And now, if you've travelled this far down that dusty road, here's where we move through the sublime and into the ridiculous...Ankle along with me, brave traveller....First, Groucho Marx with ‘Lydia the Tattooed Lady’….they don’t write them like this anymore…This is gorgeous!!!UK viewers will know Spike Milligan…others may not be quite so lucky…so here’s a psychedelic look at Grand Opera…Spike’s the one with the cow horns….Good luck!!!! A longstanding BoxFiles' hero....And now, the ridiculous...In one of the worst records ever made (the video’s not much better), here’s Leonard Nimoy singing about that cute little hobbit, Bilbo. If you’ve not seen it, steel yourself…...
