Tearless Soul is an acoustic act from Smiths Falls, Ontario, Canada. This one-man musical journey is the imagination and inner thoughts of Dan Hedderson. Dan was born and raised in the small town of Smiths Falls and began teaching himself the guitar when he was 17 before taking lessons in the fall of 2005 at the age of 23. He completed his two-year Digital Arts for Musicians diploma course at St. Lawrence College in Kingston, Ontario, Canada in 2007.
Dan has been playing guitar and writing his own music for the past decade, playing gigs throughout his hometown as often as possible. He recorded his first album in the summer of 2004 with a good friend, entitled, Forgotten Memory, which consisted of 10 original compositions. In 2007, Tearless Soul was selected to appear on a compilation album entitled, Acoustika Vol. 7, by 272 Records for his song, Butterflies and Diamond Rings. Since then, he has been selected to appear on Quickstar Productions newest volume of their Chill Out compilation for his song, Shades of Grey.
Tearless Soul’s songs delve deep within his inner being and deal with many of the complications of life such as relationships, divorce, politics, death and everything in-between.
