I am here for Friends

About Me

I'm a music freak (and international logistics manager) who was born in Chicago. I also spent a lot of time in the Northwest and was down in New Orleans for five years. St Louis has been my home since 2002, and I love everything that this city has to offer in the way of culture, especially its rich blues tradition. I'm a liberal Democrat who works hard and tries to be the best Mom possible to my son.
I go out of my way to be different... I've been called an "Afro-hippie-geek", whatever that means. The older that I get, the less that I care about what others think of me... I use the threat of public parental dancing as a very effective discipline technique.
I was born with the risk-taking gene and have tried bungee-jumping, sky diving (15 solo jumps), sober karaoke (harder than it sounds) and was a professional nude model one summer (MANY years ago... and No, you may not see the pictures unless we become REALLY good friends in "real" life)
