About Myke Adams:Artist Myke Adams was born and raised in the city of New Orleans where he began to paint at a very young age. In 1991, Adams packed his bags and headed for Chicago. Adams’ full pursuit of art came in the summer of 1997 when he was commissioned to make a painting for a friend. Since then, Adams has created hundreds of paintings and has had over 30 exhibitions. Adams’ distorted, bright acrylic colors, combine the complexities of pain, poverty, history, isolation and love to tell a story that is truly his own.
