I am here for Friends

About Me

i won the lithograph from robert's 9 lives cd!
I live in a beautiful old home that my husband & I restored, in a quaint, picturesque, laidback beach town
I live there with my husband Robert, and 2 out of my 5 children. I love them all intensely and would shrivel up and die without them.
and i'm just mildly wild about robert plant...

what i love is what inspires me...
freshly mowed grass and how the air smells after a rain,
the first roses of summer,
lilacs, blue hydrangeas and hollyhocks,
really old trees, picket fences, barns and the American flag,
how the ivy has completely taken over the garage,
picking strawberries,
the sound of the tree tops rustling,
the rumbling of thunder off in the distance,
listening to the sound of a gentle rain falling thru the leaves of my very old maple tree,
a vivid rainbow set against purple velvet clouds,
candlelight, a full moon and the scent of jasmine on a warm summer's eve,
birds chirping on a warm and quiet spring day,
crickets and catching fireflies (then letting them go after Benny goes to sleep!)...
autumn colors, bonfires and woodsmoke on a cool night,
the aromas of Thanksgiving dinner in the oven,
the rising mist and fall clouds,
winter sunsets, snow crunching underfoot,
Italian lights strung thru trees at night,
the smell of a frest cut pine tree for Christmas,
a juicy orange on a cold winter's day,
cookies baking on a blustery day,
wrapping presents,
decorating the christmas tree,
fresh ground coffee brewing in the morning,
baking bread,
sunlight streaming thru the windows,
my Grandmother's farm and the sound of our car driving down the gravel road to her house,
the English countryside and the Welsh language,
colors...all of them,
fat fluffy kitties and pouncing puppies,
babies with fat cheeks,
coloring Easter eggs...
the first bite of any food,
coffee ice cream, Indian food and plum wine,
chick flicks and feel good movies,
laughing, smiling,
being creative and inspiring others,
colorful quilts, Monet,
the guitar, the mandolin and the violin,
beautiful singing, Morgan Freeman's voice,
flowing lyrics, lovely words,
old houses (mine included!),
anything chippy, old and worn,
cooking for my family,
my Jeep,
looking up to the sky,
breathing deep and taking in the natural world that surrounds me,
really listening to people,
being kind to strangers, and last but not least...
Alex's guitar playing,
Sean's laugh,
Zach's dancing,
Tracy's smile,
Benny's big brown pudding eyes
and Robert's always successful attempt to make me laugh by dancing like a goofball!
