Influences: Soo Soo Many, grew up listening to alot of different genres of rap & Hip/Hop NWA, MC Hammer! Gyea!!, Cash money and No Limit were pretty big around middle school years circa 95-99, Bone thugs and harmony, RBL posse, Luniz, E-40, Andre Nickatina, Nate Dogg & Warren G, Snoop, Dr. Dre of course, Biggie and 2pac,Timbaland, Nas, Jay-Z, Nappy Roots, Outkast, Atmosphere . Later, after i had spent many years listening to the greats and not so greats of the main stream, my influence began to turn towards some of the more substantial and meaningful intellectual hip-hop artists. Mos-Def, Mr. Lif, Talib Kweli, Ugly Duckling, Blackalicious, Hieroglyphics, Jurassic 5, fuck it all of Quannum Records, (not to mention Del) , (P.S. can i get signed?) - De la Soul, Tribe, Pete Rock, Can-I-Bus, Common, and those are only scratching the surface of an expansive art that i have lots more to learn about. The more i write and the more beats i compose, the more i find myself flipping through other music to see what their ideas were.
Sounds Like: We're indestructible- We take a thrashing- We absorb the power of the thrashing and redirect the energy towards you exerting impeccable lyrics, using the pricinples of Ki energy, sometimes denoted CHI- we don't just have game, we have gameness- we strike like a predator.. We are the front line- joining the Diverse Curse could prove fatal- unleashing a cascade of effects- Similar to the complement system or receptor mediated endocytosis- which will in turn lead to the utter destruction of the universe as we know it, and with it all of mankind. The scariest thing to lose is your mind- But thank the multitude of gods for inventing negative feedback loops via homeostatic mechanisms which prevent this utter and chaotic destruction- We are the silicated-microfilaments that holds this chaotic universe in flux, as the beat manifests the tides- This is how the Diverse Curse Rides- It's so sick Doctors would approve- Delusions of Grandeur (Rob: You mean grandeux)- We fit the DSM IV criterion- symptoms consist with the referring diagnosis of Auditory Hallucinations, Distress causing disfunction in life, with symptoms arriving as soon as age 20, with an estimated universal prevalence of 0.4-1%. You want to know what elightenment is? when you don't second guess yourself- You know the right answer- Listen to your inner voice- BE Diverse- Earth is a mere pawn- We Rep SF, but above all we rep the universe, we ARE the universe- The world is the sunset district of the universe and we embrace the true voice of the human condition- It takes the species of earth to retain strength and order in the milky way galaxy.
