What Character from ABC..'s LOST are you?
Kate
You are alone more than you'd like to be, but thus are the circumstances of life. It'd be nice if things were different, but you can't control everything. You are not as gentle or sweet as you appear. You are respected for your honesty and your concern for others. Dependable. Hardworking. Passionate.

You are The Fool
The Fool is the card of infinite possibilities. The bag on the staff indicates that he has all he need to do or be anything he wants, he has only to stop and unpack. He is on his way to a brand new beginning. But the card carries a little bark of warning as well. Stop daydreaming and fantasising and watch your step, lest you fall and end up looking the fool.

Big, huge, massive, giant, humumgous, stonking, incredible surprise there...NOT!
I'd like to meet:
YOU and him...This is the Sessions first vid for their fab tune 'What is this Feeling'.This is Friendly Fires, totally hilarious! This is my mate Al in Korea downing his second triple tequila shot and me looking well stunned next to him:
adopt your own virtual pet!
Music:
Techno, electro, indie rock, hip hop, rock and roll, drum AND bass, the old and the new, as long as its good. Love new stuff, have a desperately short attention span and although I love all the old stuff, I'm not one of these people who sit and listen to the same tracks over and over again. I don't know if its some sort of disease that has affected the 'John Peel' generation in Britian, but you took it so for granted that you could turn the radio on and hear new and eclectic stuff and it just permeates everything now I suppose. But I am far from home, so as always, if you have something worth listening to, tell me about it. And I will try and tell other people about it. Or just look at some of the friends on mespace. Ta luv.
Movies:
Anything by Luc Besson and David Lynch. Fight Club, Leon, Betty Blue, Fargo, Life is Beautiful, Old Boy, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Bladerunner, Alien, Aliens (don't like the rest), Terminator I and II, Garden State, Thirteen, Munich, Traffic....
Television:
Lost, obviously. Been watching Firefly and Serenity that my mate downloaded for me recently. Now on Heroes, gorging myself on the entire first series in one go. T.V. out here is mostly Korean, would you believe, but there are some English channels, mostly movies. The rest is really American, lots of Oprah and E! News Weekend and stuff. Back home I remember LOVING Shameless, Little Britain, Six Feet Under, guilty pleasures included Eastenders. Watched lots of 4 Music. Been getting into Prison Break over here and Grey's Anatomy and House as well. Since its past 12 here now there are a couple getting jiggy with it on the telly now. At least its not rape. Anyone who has been to Korea or Japan will know full well that they LOVE rape T.V. over here, it's certainly not like home, this stuff would NEVER be allowed.
Books:
Well, I love reading. Sometimes there isn't much else to do out here. I am utterly in love with Haruki Murakami at the moment and am trying to get hold of everything I can. Read Dance, Dance, Dance and Kafka on the Shore and currently on Norwegian Wood now. Also love Salman Rushdie he's a genius and Midnight's Children is one of my most favourite books. Ian Banks is a great Scottish author, his fiction is great and his sci-fi written under Ian M. Banks is even better. Reading The Algebrist at the moment which is really funny as well as being the usual mind-bending intergalactic madness that you usually get from Mr. Banks. Philip K. Dick and Issac Asimov are other obvious faves as well as J.G. Ballard. Who else? Wally Lamb, Joan Didion, Umberto Eco, all the classics. Gave up reading horror when I was 15 but I remember Stephen King and Dean Koontz were good and Clive Barker excellent. Lolita, Unbearable Lightness of Being, Tropic of Cancer/Capricorn, Junkie, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance/Lila, The God of Small Things, yes I've read all the Harry Potter books so far! Running with Scissors, Catch 22. Jeff Noon is excellent, especially Vurt. I have so many books in boxes back home its gonna be like Christmas all over again, but you get the picture. Any recommendations are welcome, so out the loop with a lot of stuff here. Just to add, this is one of the best websites out there if you wanna read something straight from the heart: http://postsecret.blogspot.com/
Heroes:
I've been avoiding this one for a while, cos stating 'heroes'(notice that there is no 'heroines', website made by a man)is really difficult. Love lots of male category and female category and then loads of people say that they are their own hero/heroine. Well, I usually see many people as better than me, but also many as worse. So am I insecure AND arrogant at the same time? I suppose we all are, that's human nature. I guess that this is my chance to comment on human nature, everyone is a hero/heroine and a villan depending on where they are in life. The people that have made me happy and have def made me think about the world a different way are as follows in no particular order: Karl Marx, Max Weber, Emile Durkheim and Sigmund Freud (founding fathers of Sociology, what I got my degree in and I did love doing it, without them none of our lives would be the same), Ridley Scott for making a load of amazing films, but particulary Bladerunner my most favourite film of all time. Zach Braff just for talking for me generation (and still talkin'). Massive Attack for being the soundtrack to my life and Primal Scream, the Stone Roses and The Happy Mondays for the same. Sophia Coppola for making beautiful films (if you have been to Asia, Lost in Translation sums it up completely)and Francis Ford Coppola for making anything from The Black Stallion to Apocalypse Now. And of course all the folk you don't know, my friends and family. You know who you are and you are all legends.
