Hobbies;1) Love to cook - I am in a cooking club or supper club, month and the ladies are fabulous!!! Kris, Patrice,
Haley, Shannon and Trish, NOW IVY IS BACK!!! YEAHHHH - you guys are awesome!!!
April's Theme is "Secret Ingredient". Every dish must be made with something out of the ordinary, but don't tell! Please check my blog for the recipes that will be/were used. As soon as I get them, I'll post them.2) BUY/collect cookbooks & recipes
3) I collect baseball hats from places I've been or places others have been, i.e. Rich when he travels gets me a hat from the city or state he's been too.4) Go to Ocean City every chance I can.5) Spend time with family. My mom, dad and son just moved to West Virginia, so I won't see them as much as I'd like too, not that I saw them alot. But now it's not going to be that much since it's at least a 2 1/2 hour drive each way.
The only people I would like to meet are people who could teach me something and the only something I would like to learn is more cooking skills/techniques. So I guess I would have to say chefs... anyone from the Food Network, I.e. Rachael Ray, Sandra Lee, Emeril, Paula Deen, Giada DeLaurentis, Mario Batalli, Bobby Flay, Alton Brown... do I need to go own?I am the kind of person that loves to learn, even the smallest things. If I can learn something new every day, that just makes it a better day.People who have an appreciation for the natural beauty and things in life. One of my sayings is "Ordinary people can do extra-ordinary things."
All kinds - but please.... no gospel, bluegrass or opera. I can honestly say I love listening to non-verbal music. I.e. jazz, acoustics, soundtracks, etc. It really relaxes me.
Absolute Favorite - March of the Wooden Soldiers with Laurel & Hardy , Wizard of Oz , Tin Man, All Star Wars, All of the Star Trek, Pirates of the Carribean, Everafter... great romantic movie!! All Disney cartoons are awesome!I am a hopeless romantic. I completely believe it hours of making out until your lips are numb and being totally in love.
Not too much television, but I typically watch; The Food Network! What else?!??!! HAHAHAH... If I watch anything else, it's popping in a movie. I love the CSI series, House, MD, NUMB3RS series, Ghost Whisperer. We get the dvd's and watch them.
Unless it's a cook book or cooking magazine, I seriously doubt I read it.
My mother-in-law, inside joke, but I love her dearly. My family and friends. You guys are so valuable to me.
