SKLFL, from the inner city of Detroit, has 13 years of preparation behind his craft. His moods are deep and honest. Growing up in and around Detroit SKLFL has been in the areas, behind the stages, at the open-mics, and in the ciphas with many of the illest to ever do it. The world of constant struggle and desperation that surrounded compelled him to become a voice of the people and not just another rapper. SKLFL's concepts are electric and sharp, his style plain and powerful. His mission is to develop that "something else" that the people are desperately needing and searching for...Hot fire lyrics of life and encouragement and something to keep 'em goin' another day.
