The Swedish multi-talented Soul/R&B singer, songwriter and producer Paul M is without a doubt one of Sweden's most profoundly talented artists yet to break through on the international scene.
Whereas Paul discovered that he had the talent to sing at a very early age, the major turning point and defining moment in his life came when he at the age of twelve stambled upon the album "Midnight Love" by the legendary Marvin Gaye, while running through his mothers record shelf.
As opposed to many, Pauls love for music has over the years overshadowed his hunger to succeed in the music industry. He opted to take his time to develop his craft as well as give himself time to mature in thought. His new album "Up N High" is not only testimony of this maturity but also the unveiling of one of Swedens exceptionally gifted artists.
The Up 'N High album is a compilation of 11 completely refreshing and magnetizing songs written and co-produced by Paul M together with his good mate Mats Berntoft. It's intense, emotional, energetic, soft and gental all at the same time.
The Music is a modern interpretation of Soul. Inspiration comes all the way from soul classics to modern urban R&B. It is evident however, when one listens to the Up N High album that Paul has succeeded in creating his own identity and integrity musically.
